The Arbors at Shelburne is currently recruiting for non-licensed, experienced caregivers. We have full and part time openings on all our shifts in our community dedicated to seniors living with memory challenges. We offer substantial shift differentials for our evening shift as well as a weekend differential. Every other weekend requirement.

Sign On Bonus of $2,500. Bonus is paid out in thirds after 6 months, 9 months and one year of employment. Must accept a full time position to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus.

We conduct a criminal background check on all associates as well as professional reference checks.

  • Assists assigned resident with Activities of Daily Living
  • Removes, launders, folds, and properly returns resident linens and personal laundry
  • Serves resident food as directed, including feeding skills, if regulations permit
  • Knows and complies with all resident rights
  • Receives and gives report to incoming shift by oral and/or written log
  • Informs supervisor of changes in the resident’s condition and needs
  • Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other)
  • Effectively handles difficult resident behaviors
  • Reacts calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Assures resident information is communicated to the staff through the report process
  • Efficiently documents and provides accurate record-keeping as appropriate


Job Requirements


  • High school dipolma
  • Experience with memory care a plus
