We are hiring an Inside Sales Advisor who will be responsible for working our current prospect data base and educating customers on senior living and care options that match their needs. This role is hands on providing education, support and aligning with the customer throughout their search, facilitating tours at a Benchmark community as an appropriate next step for the customer. This role will be primarily working within the CRM and making connection through phone calls. This is a work from home opportunity!

As the flow of business activity is dependent on the customer’s needs, this role must maintain a flexible schedule as to be available to work evenings and weekends as necessary.   This role provides great autonomy and functions as an individual call center.

This is a great opportunity for junior level sales professional who is looking for the opportunity to grow into an onsite Benchmark Community Sales Leader.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing opportunities through inbound internet leads and in the existing lead base as assigned; achieving weekly goals for call outs to the lead base, voice to voice contact and tours confirmed; assisting in reaching occupancy and sales productivity goals for the assigned territory; being familiar with the Benchmark Communities and teams in the assigned territory with a strong understanding of the Benchmark differentiators and services available to customers; understanding the senior living sales cycle; scheduling tours for customers directly with the appropriate Benchmark community and providing details and insight to help facilitate the tour for the customer; maintaining and work the existing lead base with personalized assistance, integrity and discovery details recorded in our CRM which will help move the sales forward providing the right solution to the customer; presenting the Company and self in a positive and professional manner to potential residents, families, professional referral sources and other Benchmark associates; making formal public presentations to potential residents, families, professional referral sources and other Benchmark associates on an as-need basis; developing and/or producing reports on a routine or ad hoc basis and working collaboratively with community teams to emphasize the team’s role in sales. 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES  

  • Ability to build rapport, trust, and to communicate effectively.
  • Strong phone presence and experience in making multiple calls daily.
  • Experience working with a CRM required.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with hours of service as a result of changing market/customer demands.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding potential customers and the Benchmark community.
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative and have patience, high energy and resourcefulness in problem solving.

Job Requirements

A BA/BS is preferred with previous sales experience in a service-related industry.  Experience working with the needs of seniors or disabled population is highly desirable.
