The IT Architect position will report directly to the IT Lead Architect and will be a member of the IT Applications team. The primary responsibility of the IT Architect is to help configure, maintain and upgrade Enterprise Application Platforms used by Benchmark. The IT Architect will be responsible for creating and supporting a sustainable and scalable Enterprise Application model.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Development, Management and Support for Benchmark enterprise Applications including: the eHR platform, Benchmark Financial Systems, and the Enterprise CRM platform. This includes planning for system upgrades and maintenance as well as developing a plan to update configurations with the business owners.
  • Development and maintenance of eHR integrations with Financial System, Hospitals, Pharmacies and our Business Intelligence platform..
  • Working with the Business Owners of our Enterprise Applications to provide insight and guidance around how the dashboards and KPI’s should be used. Gain a deep understanding of the data to help inform business decisions through an easy to use interface.
  • Understanding compliance and disaster recovery as well as supporting the implementation of mobile device accessibility.



Job Requirements

  • Must have Qualifications
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to give confidence to users of an application that any issues that arise can and will be resolved. 
  • Being able to translate technical processes, abilities and limitations into a language understood by Business Owners and non-technical Benchmark Associates. 
  • Ability to work on a dynamic team which uses collaboration and project management tools to advance the platforms we support. 
  • Experience supporting and maintaining large scale enterprise Applications. Ability to manage change management and governance in collaboration with business owners. 
  • Desire to bring the best possible experience to Benchmark Associates using Enterprise tools allowing them to focus one their number one priority, care for the residents.

Preferred Experience 

  • Two or more years supporting a platform that stores eHR data as well as integration with additional care systems (Epic, Cerner, Point Click Care, Netsmart, MatrixCare). 
  • Understanding and basic knowledge of SQL. We are a SQL shop pulling data from all types of sources and making it readily available to our Associates in a meaningful way. 
  • Experience with Financial and Billing systems from the perspective of interacting with the Accounting/Finance team and speak their language.
