We are hiring Licensed Nursing Assistance (LNA) for our night shift; full and part time available with a $2,000 Sign On Bonus. Shift differentials for our night shift is $3.00 and $1.25 for weekends. Must accept a full time position to be eligible for the Sign On Bonus.  Bonus paid out after 6 months, 9 months and 1 year of employment.

The Licensed Nursing Assistant/Caregiver provides hands on special services and care required to each Dementia resident. Provides care and program/activity needs to residents while assisting in maintaining a positive physical, nutritional and social environment for the residents, while ensuring they feel safe and purposeful. Experience in health care preferred.

Job Requirements

Licensed Nursing Assistant/Caregiver will be expected to display an eager willingness to assist staff in providing general care and support for our residents as needed.

Other responsibilities:

• Interacting with residents and families on a daily basis
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents have an exceptional stay
• Handling advanced directives and end-of-life care
• Following the Resident Care Standards and Practices to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Assisting with their meals, transferring them using appropriate assistive devices, bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred
• Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
• Understands advanced directives and end-of-life care
• Understands the nursing function in assisted living
• Understands quality of care objectives
• Understands quality of life objectives
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
