Benchmark Senior Living is proud to be opening our 65th community in Alexandria! Our community will be located in the center of Alexandria’s up-and-coming lifestyle destination, ‘West Alex,’ community residents will be surrounded by plenty of places to walk, shop, dine and relax just outside their door. Over 100,000 square feet of retail space features a grocery store and  diner. 

Our 10 story community will offer 89 modern assisted living and 26 memory care apartments with various floor plans and spacious common areas with hospitality-rich amenities to include a club room, casual bistro, wine tasting suite, penthouse level café and rooftop deck to host social gatherings. A wellness center will be home to on-site healthcare services, such as physician visits.

Residents and their families will also enjoy the ease of chef-prepared, gourmet meals served in multiple dining venues, housekeeping and linen service and scheduled transportation to appointments.

A personalized resident care and experience will be provided by associates who have been hired for heart and trained for skill. We are seeking dynamic sales professionals who want to be part of an innovative and dynamic sales culture that focuses on making a difference in the lives of seniors in the new commnity. 

As a Sales Director you will drive occupancy in our new community by developing meaningful personal relationships with potential residents, their families, and professional partners through our commitment to prospect-centered selling. 

Additional responsibilities for the Sales Director include:

  • Supporting prospects throughout the sales process
    • Building and managing detailed prospect and professional profiles in our database 
    • Generating and up-keeping your pipeline
    • Comprehensive understanding of your community’s competitive market landscape
    • Researching and/or visiting competitors’ facilities
    • Articulating the Benchmark Difference
    • Cultivating and managing reciprocal professional relationships throughout marketplace

Job Requirements

As a Sales Director for Benchmark Senior Living, you must be an empathetic, diligent and committed active-listener with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Additional requirements of the Sales  Director include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in assisted living
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Possessing a driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
    • Ability to speak intelligently about our services
