Assisted Living Care Director
Salary: $60,000/yr
Schedule: Full time; Sunday through Thursday

The Assisted Living Care Director is a Director-level role and works with a friendly, caring and dynamic team, providing leadership and scheduling for our associates as well as support to our residents in a home-like setting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scheduling for Assisted Living and Mind & Memory Care team and liaison with payroll for resident care team
- Assist Resident Care Director in developing service plans according to state regulations and manage changes
- Assist with hiring, training, supervising and developing care associates
- Interact with residents and families daily
- Responsible for departmental compliance and engage as a member of community management team
- Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response system and know when to call for backup
- Assist in the effective handling of occasional challenging resident behaviors
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in an assisted living or skilled nursing community
- Proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignments
- Demonstrated supervisory and management skills, including scheduling and training
- Understanding of and has developed Resident Care Service Plans
- Understanding of nursing function in assisted living
- Working knowledge of state regulations, including infection control
- MS Office suite proficiency
- CPR, First aid and Heimlich certifications preferred
- Valid CNA license or HHA Certification a plus
- Must obtain Medication Technician training within 90 days of starting
