Job Description

Bay Square at Yarmouth is searching for a Programming Coordinator to lead our Activties & Recreation team in Memory Care neighborhood. We here at Bay Square are a very close team of professionals who have a passion for their job. We would like you to become an important member of that team! 

This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing and evaluating community programming to enhance resident’s experience, while developing and cultivating relationships with current residents, families and with community organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the Activities Staff to ensure proper execution of planned events
  • Overseeing scheduling of events, trips, meetings, rooms, and group functions
  • Developing, promoting, coordinating and overseeing community events
  • Editing, producing and distributing a monthly community newsletter
  • Participates in plan of care development

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred, but not necessary.
  • 1-3 years experience in Assisted Living setting a plus.
  • Certification and/or Experience in Dementia Care preferred,but not necessary.
  • Flexible Schedule- willing to work on weekends and holidays. 
  • Management and Leadership Experience 
  • A Passion for Serving Seniors a Must!
