Job Description

We are currently looking for an Activities Coordinator. In this role, the Activities Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing programs and activities for our patients.

• Instructs activities in both individual and in small groups
• Assists patients by understanding that all aspects of care can be viewed as an activity
• Encourages and motivates residents to attend and participate in programming and activities
• Assists in the creation of a monthly newsletter, calendar and Daily Activity Calendar 

Job Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

• Possesses training and knowledge in recreational activities 
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding patients
• Shows an ability to relate to and perform job functions for the elderly in a positive and efficient manner
• Shows a consistent ability to coordinate multiple tasks, demonstrates a positive attitude, and works well under pressure
