Our Director of Community Relations is responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the community by attracting qualified prospects and converting those prospects into residents. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing. 

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works collaboratively to emphasize the team’s participation in the community Sales & Marketing Action Plan
  • Acts as the primary contact for all new sales leads and supports prospects throughout the sales process
  • Assists in developing a strong and deep pipeline / wait list
  • Assists in developing a formal wait list procedure with the Director of Sales and Marketing as well as the Director of Business Administration 
  • Identifies primary and secondary markets with appropriate sales strategies and tactics
  • Schedules and promotes lead-generating events
  • Maximizes all occupancy and total revenue opportunities
  • Gathers competitive market analysis data and maintains a detailed competitor comparative analysis (including rates, apartment sizes, services, and amenities)
  • Gathers Enquire reports for analysis and interpretation (to identify solutions)
  • Ensures qualified leads are entered into Enquire
  • Maintains a current 6-month competitor analysis
  • Troubleshoots issues, presenting problems or anomalies to the appropriate parties to collaborate, create solutions, and resolve issues
  • Ensures model suites are well appointed, clean, and neat

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in senior housing. 
  • Previous experience working with seniors is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
