Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role will work collaboratively with Human Resources and Operations to align practices and initiatives with the Company’s strategic and operational goals. As an HRBP you will focus on proactive talent management and less on the more reactive transactional HR issues.  This position is responsible for establishing strong partnerships within the Regional and Community leadership teams, to identify and deliver talent-related guidance, processes and tools in support of employee and business needs. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues.

The HRBP helps to develop and implement better people management practices. You will lead and manage the people management related agenda for the field organization.  The HRBP will lead change management projects and support the Organizational Development Team to achieve the HR & OD strategic objectives, and acts as the HR lead on a range of different projects and responsibilities in the field. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational Development

  • Strategic Partner: Crafts and implements company-wide strategies to chronic challenges
  • Helps create a vision for talent strategy in the communities and represents the communities talent interests within the organization
  • Understands the talent needs of the business and identifies talent issues before they impact the business
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Talent Processes, Procedures, and Strategy
  • Is a partner in the selection of key Department Head and Executive Development positions
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risk
  • Supports cultural changes through a variety of different methods, including close involvement of implementing action plans following the Associate Survey results.
  • Works with the Regional Teams on Operational Initiatives/Strategy
  • Key facilitator in the Community succession planning process and in developing the next generation of leaders
  • Performs exit interviews for Department Heads, provides on-going analysis of exit trends, and develops strategies to reduce “un-healthy” trends.

 HR Legal 

  • Designs, administers, interprets, and enforces HR Standards and Practices
  • Investigates Associate Relations Allegations of a serious nature
  • Acts as an Associate Relations Coach and Advisor for the managers in the Community
  • Functions as a lead point-of-contact for legal compliance with in the region.
  • Manages conflict
  • Creates sustained solutions to individual Associate challenges
  • Assesses trends in Associate Relations and develops strategies for continuous improvement.

Training

  • Participates in various HR training for Executive Directors and Department Heads,   
  • Serves as a member of the Benchmark University faculty
  • Functions as Regional point-of-contact for Benchmark University
  • Identifies skill gaps in the field, and provide the OD team with feedback to support the skill development

Knowledge and Experience

  • Applies state and federal HR to the work environment
  • Understands and can communicate various benefits plans available to associates (and corresponding laws)

 Organizational Development

  • Provides support when organizing and implementing organizational development initiatives
  • Collaborates on and implement internal communications
  • Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning
  • Drives Performance management process in the communities

Recruiting

  • Analyzes predictive index (PI) reports
  • Participates in the recruitment process as needed

 

 

 

Job Requirements

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field,
  • 5-7 years’ experience of progressive responsibility in Human Resources/Organizational Development
