Job Description

Bay Square at Yarmouth is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to manage the schedule for the Resident Care Associates (CNA's and PSS's). This role will assist the Memory Care Director and Resident Care Director with administrative tasks for our community. Candidates must have previous experience in scheduling and excellent customer service skills. 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops staffing schedule in conjunction with the Resident Care Director and Memory Care Director and monitors overtime and agency usage.
  • Oversees training of CNA's/CMRA's and PSS's, schedules license renewals and monitors in service trainings to ensure compliance 
  • Actively recruits for any open positions within the Care Staff, participates in interviews and screening of potential new hires
  • Assists with verifying and correcting daily timecard punches 
  • Provides information and support to residents and families to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Participates in the QA process
  • Checks SAMM / MAR for completion
  • Maintain in-service logs, notifies Director when hours are not met
  • Coordinates monthly Care Staff meetings in conjunction with Resident Care Director
  • Supervises Resident Care Staff
  • Reviews shift and communication logs to ensure appropriate follow up
  • Serves as a coach and mentor staff

 

 

Job Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience in scheduling is required 
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Represents the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families.
  • Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance.
