Benchmark Senior Living at Woburn is seeking caring and compassionate Universal Workers, your primary focus will be to provide customer service to our residents in a home like setting.  As a Personal Care Attendant you will provide our residents and families with a quality, differentiated experience by establishing and maintaining a beneficial and caring relationship.

Communication

  • Advises supervisor when supplies diminish for reorder
  • Communicates effectively with supervisor

Compliance/Safety:

  • Adheres to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when lifting, bending, and using equipment
  • Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction
  • Follows standards and practices for the use of specific chemicals and is familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused
  • Follows emergency procedures effectively when chemicals are accidentally misused
  • Understands the practices surrounding proper handling of biohazardous waste
  • Immediately reports any personal accident or work-related injury
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Benchmark Standards and Practices

Facilities and Maintenance

  • Demonstrates knowledge of Benchmark Standards and Practices
  • Assists with keeping resident’s personal items cleans and organized
    • Makes sure common area furniture is clean and in its right place
    • Preps wash station and dining tables/carts before each meal
    • Assist with washing residents hands and seating them in the dining room
    • Assist during meal services with all drink and meal options and feeding residents
    • Washes all napkins, wash clothes and aprons after each meal
    • Assist with some housekeeping duties as needed
    • When needed, washes and dries laundry, including resident’s personal laundry using cleaning products appropriate to the type of wash.
    • Folds items and returns to appropriate location
    • Complete administrative work when assisted

 

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Previous experience working with seniors desirable
