We are seeking Cooks to join our Dining Services Team!  As a Cook at The Commons in Lincoln, you will work with a friendly, caring and dynamic team. The Cook prepares and cooks food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, and within established Benchmark policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize established recipes and portion sizes
• Ensure food is prepared and presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with culinary team to develop and improve menu offerings

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent - Culinary Arts training a plus
• 1-3 years dietary experience
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Must be able to interact effectively with residents and staff and follow written and oral instructions
