Edgehill is looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing. We need candidates who love working with people, particularly with the senior population. The Maintenance Technician performs repairs (both minor and major). Implements regular and preventive maintenance programs that promote a sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents and staff. Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Must have good building maintenance experience, and be familiar with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, with an emphasis on HVAC diagnosis and repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance throughout the community.
  • Demonstrates excellent trouble-shooting skills. Be able to think outside the box to figure out a solution.
  • Work with the electronic work order system (PM Worx)
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families and everyone in the community.
  • Participate in the "On-Call Technician" program which may include working beyond office hours, weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • • HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certification preferred
  • • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • • 2-3 Years or More Experience of facilities and/or building maintenance, mechanical/electrical/plumbing/HVAC installation, maintenance and/or repair.
  • • Loves to work with seniors.
  • • Excellent customer service skills.
