Starting Pay: $23-$26/hr

Schedule: Remote/with travel M-F 9a-5p

Travel: 100% travel, $750/month travel stipend

We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Residential Painter to join our facilities team. If you are a painter skilled in painting different types of surfaces using a variety of tools and techniques this might be a great opportunity for you! In this position you will be assigned to complete projects at Benchmark Senior Living communities.

Requirements

As the Regional Painter you will apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to refresh and repair damaged  surfaces, decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster
  • Smoothing surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool
  • Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or torch to prepare surfaces for painting
  • Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers
  • Setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level
  • Protecting community furnishings and flooring to minimize damage during painting projects
  • Project clean up including vacuuming.
  • Completes special projects I.E. - floor care, power washing and other general maintenance duties as required.
  • Extensive travel will be required for this role

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Professional commercial and residential painting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to interact respectfully with the senior residents at the communities
  • Must be able to travel
