Benchmark Senior Living is seeking an seasoned Sales Specialist. This role will support our community locations within New England. The position will report to our VP of Sales. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for hands on sales execution by generating new sales leads, converting leads to move-ins and helping to implement necessary sales systems. Candidates must have previous experience in assisted living sales and be willing to travel within New England.

We offer competitve compensation to include base salary, commissions, car allowance of 1K per month, cell phone reimbursement and AMEX card for travel expenditures.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining a 90-day Marketing Action Plan (MAP) and Sales Action Plan for each community within the cluster in conjunction with other sales associates, Executive Directors, and Regional Directors of Operations
  • Identify key needs of prospects and build trusting relationships
  • Articulating to prospects why our organization is unique and exceptional in the marketplace
  • Generating and up-keeping communities’ pipelines
  • Manages sales and marketing data, audits, training, analysis, and implementation.
  • Ensures all lead sources are identified in the system
  • Ensures qualified leads are entered into the system
  • Completes Marketing Action Plan and Sales effectiveness plan reports on a timely basis each month
  • Presents the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Presents self in a positive and professional manner
  • Assists the Executive Director and community team in developing and executing effective sales and marketing plans.
  • Strives to educate the community at large about Benchmark’s unique approach to senior living services
  • Positively influences and impacts sales activities for communities as assigned
  • Assures that occupancy and sales productivity goals are consistently met for individuals and for the cluster

 

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATICATION 

  • 3-5 years experience in sales and marketing in senior housing. 
  • Previous experience working with the elderly and/or disabled in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to travel within New England 100% of the work week.
