CURRENT OPENING: Administrative/Executive Assistant and Office Manager

The Administrative/Executive Assistant and Office Manager is responsible for supporting the efforts of his/her direct supervisor and team. S/he helps coordinate meetings and schedules, provides computer processing and reporting support, and assists in special projects as appropriate. S/he is in charge of the management of the Home Office Administrative functions, like maintenance, front desk reception, equipment and supplies, etc. S/he supervises the front desk receptionist and the office coordinator. S/he also coordinates the administrative team and has dotted line supervision of all of the administrative assistants.


Job Requirements


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Access) as well as familiarity with the Internet and its search tools.
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of office equipment and ability to trouble shoot problems.
  • Maintains databases (vendors, etc.)


  • High School graduate or equivalent certificate; Associates degree preferred.
  • Successful completion of bookkeeping/accounting courses is helpful.
  • 5 to 7 years progressive experience in office management and executive assistance.
  • Experience managing a team preferred.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly and/or disabled in a paid or volunteer position highly desirable.
