The Treasury Associate is responsible for applying policies and procedures in the timely processing and handling of all day to day cash management activities related not only to the communities that Benchmark manages, but the investment funds it manages.


  • Oversee daily cash activities for 60 Assisted Living communities and determine daily cash position; assist with short-term cash forecasting
  • Compile and analyze financial information to meet monthly, quarterly and fiscal year end management reporting requirements.
  • Assist in evaluating compliance with the Company's treasury policies and internal controls.
  • Manage banking relationships and bank accounts including but not limited to account openings, account closings, change in treasury services, etc.
  • Assist accountants in researching variance reconciling items on bank reconciliations
  • Prepare ACH data files for both accounts payable and accounts receivable and transmit the files to multiple banks
  • Confirm receipt of all data transmission uploads
  • Review accounts for returned items. Research and correct as needed.
  • Monitor bank accounts for Positive Pay exception items. Research and make decisions as needed.
  • Perform administrative duties and provide field support for Modus Pay check scanning software and hardware
  • Execute investment of excess funds and/or short-term borrowings as needed.
  • Process inter-company cash transfers
  • Process wire transfers
  • Perform administrative duties for online banking portals
  • Act as company administrator for American Express cardholders
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
  • BS or BA degree in accounting, finance or business from accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years of relevant finance experience
