The Village at Brookfield Common is a premier assisted living community in Brookfield, Connecticut. We house approximately 100 residents living in both traditional and memory care neighborhoods. We are located in the plaza next to Costco and are directly on the New Milford/Brookfield bus line!

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who have the following availability:
Evening (3p-11p) shifts + every other weekend
Overnight (11p-7a) shifts + every other weekend
Overnight (11p-7a) shifts every other weekend + Overnight (11p-7a) Thursday/Friday every week 
These are all part time positions and you must have a valid Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant certificate to qualify for this position! 

As a Resident Care Associate your primary focus will be to provide nursing care to our residents in a home like setting. If you are a compassionate, friendly, and energetic individual who would like an opportunity to join a growing company please apply for this position!


Duties of Certified Nursing Assistant will include:

Interacting with residents and families on a daily basis 
Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents have an exceptional stay
Handling advanced directives and end-of-life care
Following the Resident Care Standards and Practices to ensure proper procedures are followed
Assisting Residents with meals, transferring them using appropriate assistive devices, bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming

Job Requirements

- Valid Connecticut CNA certificate is required
- Previous experience working with individuals with dementia is preferrable
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Can demonstrate knowledge of Service Plans and/or assignments
- Understands advanced directives and end of life care
- Understands quality of care and quality of life objectives
