The Arbors of Bedford in Bedford, NH, a Benchmark Senior Living community is a vibrant and compassionate residential community with an innovative Mind & Memory program for seniors with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. This specialized form of assisted living combines personal care assistance and innovative medication management with dedicated programs and dignified dining for life enrichment.  We are looking for a special associate to join the team and fulfill the purpose below. 

Senior Helper *new positions* PT Evenings / Assisted Living (Entry Level!)

*Newly created positions for those who want to enter the healthcare field!

We are seeking caring and compassionate Personal Care Assistants!  We hire for people with the right heart, we will train you to have the needed skills. As a Personal Care Assistant, your primary focus will be to provide customer service to our residents in a home like setting. We will develop you to provide nursing care on the career path we have to offer those who desire a career in healthcare.

Personal Care Assistant will include:

• Interacting with residents and families on a daily basis
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents have an exceptional stay
• Following the Resident Care Standards and Practices to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Customer Service experience, desire to help seniors
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is welcome
• Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding 
• Understands quality of life objectives

Job Requirements

 Educational Requirements and Experience:

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

  • One to three years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Shifts from 3p-8p weekdays and weekend
  • May assist residents with meals, engaging conversation and activities
